ABOUT KATE

Originally from Ireland, USA Today bestselling author Kate Meader cut her romance reader teeth on Maeve Binchy and Jilly Cooper novels, with some Harlequins thrown in for variety. Give her tales about brooding mill owners, oversexed equestrians, and men who can rock an apron, fire hose, or hockey stick, and she’s there. Now traveling the world with her soulmate, she writes sexy contemporary, hockey, and LGBTQ romance with big-hearted guys and strong heroines and heroes who can match their men quip for quip.

Kate is represented by Nicole Resciniti at The Seymour Agency.

FUN FACTS

(no longer talking about myself in third person because that would be weird . . .)

  • I got married in a tenth century castle nestled in the hills of Florence, Italy.

  • I hate peanut butter, pretzels, and ketchup. These dislikes are enough to label me “un-American” by my husband.

  • I have degrees in law (useless), medieval history (not as useless), and library science (yay, used for years). P.S. Twelfth century nuns rock.

  • I didn’t write any fiction until well into my thirties, proving it’s never too late to follow your dream.

  • I’m a dual citizen: Irish and American. When I became an American citizen, my husband played a prank on me that was 17 years in the making. One day, I’ll share that story but for now, it remains locked in the vault!

Do you have an ARC team? Can you give me a copy of your book for review?

Check out the Blogger List sign up.

I started the Hot in Chicago and Chicago Rebels series in audio ... but the later books aren't available in that format! Will they ever be?

Possibly? I’m currently working to get those later-in-series titles recorded so hopefully you’ll see these soon.

First person sucks! I liked your books better when written in third person / wow, your first person books are so fresh and immediate.

Why, thank you!
